A friend has a Natures Flame enviro evolution pellet fire in his home. I believe that they are Canadian manufacture(?) He has recently had it serviced and the igniter replaced, again.' It appears that these units fail well before what would normally be expected. That is every 18 months or so. Has anyone else had similar experience and maybe a solution to his problem? or is his unit a 'special'?

save his money and use a firelighter to start it, when light comes on switch to auto. works well here.

any firestarter will do,( i use samba ), i just break in half and put half a handfull of pellets over them and leave the auger slowly on as well, then switch to auto when light comes on.
