Hi I brought a punnet of asparagus plant seedlings from garden centre this weekend. As this is my first time attempting to grow it, can anyone tell me if I can plant it in buckets or are they not deep enough? I don't have much ground space so will need to be in some sort of pots. Buckets would be more transportable. Was thinking I would need one bucket per plant? Thanks.
just read very good had a few spears off mine this year as year 2 dont over crowd in buckets and dont over water as can rot

That is probably don't over water when it's dormant? Mine (in it's own bed in the garden) loves water once it starts producing.
