Graphite gland seal replacement for taps

Im reconditioning some taps and want to replace the old leaky gland seals.
Where do you get the graphite string to wrap round the shaft?

No one seems to stock the stuff.

OK, sweet, so is that all plumbers use these days?
I was looking at this stuff thats available overseas.

Go to an automotive store like Repco,used for seals

Another thought, (just 'cause I passed one today) pumping businesses. Like farm wells and the like.

They will probally try and sell you the acrylic (ptfe) shit
It is useless on our old water pump the old graphite string is best
