I planted some tulip bulbs 2 months ago and they aren't doing anything - no roots not sprouts. I did put them in the frig for a few weeks prior to planting, in paper bags in a vegetable drawer without anything else. The bulbs aren't rotting and are still clean and firm. Will they grow or not? TIA

yes probably will its very early for tulips yet, I never lifted ours last season and they are not up yet, but I have seen signs of life when weeding, We bought a large number of daffodil bulbs and planted them late May early June which is a bit late for them, so far no sign of life, and others are flowering.

It's still the middle of winter. Tulips don't come up till the soil is quite warm.
