So please tell me do I plant them now or do I store them away over winter, if I store them would an ice cream container be ok. Afew are sprouting out the top, thank you.

Plant them now but you probably wont get flowers this spring cause they will be too late planting. Next year you should though.

Worth a try especially if they were cheap. Chill in fridge for a week then plant-the earth will be warmer than the fridge (I hope) + they will sprout more quickly

Yes cheap $1.00 for 20 bulbs, will chill in fridge and plant next weekend.
