or complicated? We've used bottled gas before and I'm sure it was cheaper to run than the Natural Gas we have now. Supply charge alone is $50.00 per month. Can the existing Infinity unit be changed easily from Natural gas to bottled gas?

Generally most gas appliances come with jets both for NG and LPG. The jet(s) you need are most likely available. Talk to a gas fitter or an infinity sales centre.

My Palmco oven came with NG fitted and LPG conversion nozzles included. I also had to change the aeration gap on the oven and grill burners, attach the included LPG sticker and set minimum flame on the hobs.
My Rinnai califont, on the other hand, was setup for LPG and is not changeable.

There is even minimum charge for the bottle & last time I enquired at contact energy demanded at least 2 appliaces on gas . . this was couple years ago may have changed . Iwas looking at changeover from electric as HWC is leaking & will be using LPG BBQ bottle as very low user .
