we had a new aluminium blind put in and i want to take it down to clean but we (we have had them before) can see where the release buttons/tabs/whatever are on it.they are obviously hidden/hard to find.an- y tips

At the top on each side are little tabs that you snap open so you can then liftoff the blind. Hope you can find them OK.

Depends on the make of the blind. Our blinds have brackets at the top. A small clear plastic tab with a hole in, sticks out the front of the bracket. Use a small screwdriver to gently lever the tab forward and the blind will unhook at the back. Good luck.

Generally, 4 different types of fittings - 1. Clear plastic locking plates across the front (self-evident) 2. Clear plastic tabs to be levered out - see thatbluedog post. 3. Spring operated - push the blind back hard then lever front downwards 4. Lever at top that rotates back to free blind. Hope this helps (from professional installer).
