I acid etched my concrete yesterday and now the forecast has changed and we are meant to get rain today. I take it I can't use the sealer now. Can I leave the concrete now till next summer and just re-etch it then? -

its going to rain until next year? whats the drying time of the sealer, 6 weeks or so? of course you can leave it until next year, or the year after, or the year after, or tomorrow when its not raining, or today before the forecast rain arrives if it does

When we had some sealing done the drying time was more like 6 hours.

read the instructions, re application and drying times, they differ with different formulations of sealer eg some advise to apply after midday and before dusk in winter due to dew also some advise to dilute first coat 10%
