Good on you. Handy living in the warmer part of North Island.
I am in Ch Ch, and enjoyed first spuds last night. Beans have lots of flowers, and Toms are probably about 3 weeks away; a total of 13 plants.
Oh and over 800 swan plants i'm selling :-]

No tomatoes yet but We've all been picking beans, courgettes, spinach, lettuce, kale, and silverbeet now for some weeks. I picked a really good spot for our potted vegie garden this year, I'm even predicting tomatoes into winter if I can keep up the energy.

Be nice if some of that long promised rain'd come though. I'm watering twice daily.

Zuchs, beans, tomatoes, strawberries, radish, lettuce and very soon my brambles will be ripe. Exciting as first year I have grown them and am sure the grandies will enjoy them. Waiting on passionfruit, peaches, nectarines. blueberries, peas and capsiums, but I cannot get my tamarillos to do well. One is 3 years old and suffered badly, another 2 years old, same fate and 3rd one is only 6 months old. Fingers crossed for next year. If they all decide to fruit I will unindated. I only have a half section and am amazed just how much I can grow on it, food incorporated with flowers. Love it.
