Ive sprayed off my lawn to re seed shortly, my question is do i have to remove the dead grass or can i rotary hoe the soil as is?

If it is well dead then you can hoe it in make sure you get a good fine tilth as you will find that alot of it wont hoe up really fine and will need raking out. But alot of it will also be buried

I mowed mine down to the roots after the round up had killed it. Then raked the rest up. This was at my first house. this one was a new build and we hydro-seeded it.

hydro seed will give you the best lawn ever! if you're too cheap to do that then just buy the seed from specseed , thier legacy mix is great
