I have a problem with hanging baskets.I used coconut liners which the birds pecked away at and used for nest materials.I replaced these with spagnum moss liners which the birds seem to think is an even better material.Any suggestions on how to beat the blighters

I have been told that to combat this, use the pants part of pantihose, tie off where the legs were and put in basket before the liner.

today I used an old shower curtain,cut it up to fit, and put that on the outside of the baskety stuff. time will tell.
