As it's a rental, the new regulations require a thermostatically controlled heating device of enough KW to heat the space according to their measuring tool.

Best place to go christin is west city heating(I think) in Henderson valley rd where they have most brands on display.

Thank you. mines okay and a chimney sweep said the old ones are better but doesnt seem to pump out the heat.
I loved my Jayline woodburner in our old place. Have got a Masport in our new house. Hubby wanted the masport so I had to give in because I got something else I really wanted in the new house. Always got to have a little give and take. To be fair the masport is ok.

we have a new woodsman serene with a wetback and was fantastic over winter, heap of features like a fire proof draw, stands higher so dont have to bend so far down, load logs front to back rather than side to side meaning less chance of rolling out,not so wide so easier to place in a tight place

Our Jayline was inbuilt. Heated the house really well. Much preferred it to the noisy freestanding one we have now.

I think it’d starting to rust, it’s also an old brown dated one. Not sure how old but looked old when I moved in in 2002 so would like a fresh nice one,
And I can’t see. To get it pumping out the heat.

Are you looking for free standing or inbuilt?
We had an old Kent inbuilt whith wetback which would have been a great fire back in its day. But after 35 years it was past its best. So changed to Kent rata, which is great. Would have preferred a free standing burner but we done have the room.

ive fitted heat pumps in my rentals as well, alot less problems with tenants having to source firewood and no burnt carpets and chimney cleaning.also you don't need a permit for a heat pump
