Sending a 2nd hand chainsaw?

Has anyone done this and who did you use? Apparently can't send something that once apon a time had fuel/oil in it

Bought 2 second hand here on trade me , Fuel and oil drained bar removed and packed in a box ,easy as

I sent one with fuel and oil removed, and declared it as spare parts when asked.
The other alternative is to put the body in a strong carton and send the bar separately.

Can you use a trucking company who had a depot near where the chainsaw has to go to?

It's no wonder they are buggered as a business.

Let's have a wee game here - can anyone list an item that they DO allow?

Yeah just send it as engine parts, I have sent many chainsaws this way. Never had a problem, they won't open it to check.
