I have a prolific flowering climbing rose. Do I deadhead after blooms have died each time?

I do. Just snap off at the natural break, then from mid summer on leave to form hips that hold till the late winter prune.

Yes, I would. Any development into hips will draw nourishment from the plant. A lot will depend, though, upon what sort of rose you have - whether or not it is a repeat bloomer. Deadheading encourages new growth but that may not necessarily mean more flowers. Do you know the name of it? Or the type?

yes, definitely de-head. You will encourage new growth and your rose will love you for it. For a repeat flowering rose, I usually have three flushes over summer and after the third, I leave the flowers to hip for the winter.

It keeps them flowering if you do. I have 3 climbers, they're so big now, it would take me a week to dead head, so after the initial attempt )minus a ladder) I don't. And they stop flowering :-(
