I know there are trees in Christchurch as well as Rangiora - does anyone have either the little seedlings that come up, or some seeds please.

Will take several years before fruiting if you just grow a seedling. Best to get one from a Nursery that has been grafted. will fruit quicker and better. Same applies to all fruit trees really

I would love to give you some seedlings! I have given many hundreds away over the years and they always fruit well - take about 6-7 yrs. I also have a few blackboy peach seedlings. You could leave a ph no on one of my listings - I won't reply on it, so it wouldn't become public.

I've not found a nursery in Christchurch that has them. and it doesn't mean to say that they have chosen the right variety to graft - it might be the one that looks the best when fruiting, but doesn't taste as good.
