would you allow from the edge of a roller blind to the window frame. Blind would hang on the inside of the frame. My frame measures 157cm & blind I am looking at is 150cm. Hope this makes sense.

I'd prefer it to either touch the bottom or at least almost touch. 7cm is too much gap.

That's as close as you will get with ready made blinds.
If it's on an aluminium framed window, and doesn't cover the glass at the sides, it might look strange. On a timber framed window it might be ok if it reaches to the timber frame.
Only other option would be a custom made blind.

You could glue a narrow toning ribbon or bias binding to the edges to 'extend' it. Fairly simple job.

That won't work. It will be too wide to wind on to the roll at the top.
