That is rather a pretty shade of orange but it looks rather insipid. Is there any type of fertiliser or food that will strengthen the colour

You are not really giving much information as to why you think it may be faded. The short answer is no - roses are bred to be a certain colour in optimum conditions. However, it may be that if you are not feeding your roses properly (they are gross feeders and need 3-4 feeds during the flower producing season) in which case, give it a feed of rose fertiliser (only as stipulated on the packet though - more is not better!) It may be that it is in a shaded area or it may, in fact be full blown and fading as it ages. Any of this helpful!

Thanks for that. Yes it maybe that it is an Apricot rose. It is one I had given to me a couple of years ago and transplanted. It looks healthy enough.
