Is there a site some where I can check to see if a builder is a Registered Master Builder and maybe peoples reviews who have used them before!

I've seen the nocowboys site. I can't seem to find anything online about this particular building company the REA wants to use, think we will get our own one in :) (who is actually on the nocowboys site :D)

http://www.masterbuilder.org.nz/helpcyb.asp Some care is needed with the "nocowboys" site, when reviews are few in number that one "bad" review can throw the average out, and the contractor might have responded to a poor review with some valid comments. Not to mention shill "reviews". For restricted work, you need an LBP.There's a look-up field here: http://www.dbh.govt.nz/lbp Note that lookup field is for the LBP themselves, not the company that they work for (though their company involvement will be listed when you find the individual's name in the search and click on it)
