Hi
I need to treat and maybe paint this before i move in. It's white painted concrete block borderinhg my cold neighbours flat. It's got residual mould from years gone by and maybe some new. I want to refresh to start back again best I can so can you please tell me how to a: clean and treat - then b what to paint it with (which product/s) to give best chance of avoiding same thing again or at least slow it down.
The end is gib or something - how should I do that wall - sureseal!

Thanks!

Can you sureseal on painted concrete block too!

Sureseal is only used on unpainted plaster & concrete. You have a cold mass - concrete [painted or otherwise] and until that is addressedthen there will always be mould. Perhaps use that polystyrene sheet that is used between the floor joists and then gib it, seal it and paint it!

Clean it with "curtain majic" that they sell on TM.Then there's an anti-mould additive you can get at hardware shops.(i got it at placemakers)You add this to any paint you want to inhibit mouldregrowth. So you don't have to buy the more expensive anti-mould paints.
