Have furniture pressure marks on carpet.Have heardof 'recipe' using ice blocks to remove them. Can someone explain how to use ice block - not keen to soak them into carpet.Or is there an easier method to live carpet back to original state.

Pop a ice block into the indented hole- it adds moisture and fluffs up the compressed wool by capillary action. I expectleaving a damp flannel on the mark it would work the same way.

place a damp cloth over indent, take a pre-heated clothes iron, quite hot, and place firmly on cloth for 3 or 4 seconds.
You may need to repeat a couple of times. I have done this many times, it will work !
