Anyone know if these are available in New Zealand! They're used to bolt landscaping timbers (like railway sleepers) together . Can anyone recommend any other similar products!

Get some threaded rod from any of the big building stores. Comes in metre lengths and 3 or 4 diameters. Also need washers and nuts to suit. Cut to length to suit.

Thanks for your comments. I did have a look at Bunnings selection but all I could find were coach screws, which I can use, just that the Timberlok sounded awesome, don't need holes to be pre-drilled and generate a large clamping force.

14g galv purlin screws ,predrill timber and drive in with decent sized elect drill or impact driver.
