I've got a 20m heavy duty power cord and I use that for the line trimmer / weed eater out the back. But the power cord has a lot of kinks in it and doesn't straighten out fully.
I am forever trying to 'un-kink' it with little success. Does anyone know how I can straighten it out so it is more user friendly?
thanks in advance

try leaving it out in the sun to soften the coating (well, it works with the hose!)

Obviously it has been damaged when winding up, I doubt it will ever lay flat again. My ex was notorious at stuffing up power leads, she some how twisted them against the lay of the wiring inside them hence the kinks. Since she has gone all my new leads are perfect. LMAO.

Often caused by winding up the lead with 1 end still plugged in. Machines with a cable drum get the same problem when ppl wind up most of the cord before unplugging from the power socket.

Does the cable have a stripe on it?
