Some say you can sprinkle a mix of laundry detergent and water onto your lawn. Havent tried it yet but intend to this year. Not quite time for it. Also wondering if the ground is real hard because of the droughts whether they will appear this year.

We had them last year on our 10 acre block, tried neem granules but didn't work. So we got it professionally done. They are so destructive! Good luck!

I can imagine my neighbours if I got chickens and we wake to roosters crowing in the mornng.

ha! yes with having neighbours would not be a good idea.

But in saying that you could sell tickets to them as they would be lining up to see that magical chicken crowing like a rooster.
