Replacing 1980s PDL power outlet with 600 series?

hi guys,

One of our 1980s vintage PDL power outlet has given up the ghost, will a modern PDL 600series faceplate be a straight replacement?

Here's a photo:

Thanks!

please be aware that some of the earlier "diecast" i.e muck metal flush boxes
are 1 or 2mm narrower in width and the later series of switch socket will not fit.
Not saying you will have a flush box as above, but something to be aware of.
Something I used to find a lot in my 45 + years in the trade.
result, you will possibly need to replace flush box, Easiest way to get nails out is with a pair of sidecutters and lever against side of FBox.
