Keep on doing something. The problem with real tradesman is that people still keep ringing us up so work something out with a mate so you can be the boy and he is the boss. One of my builders told me about his father who also was a builder and retired who when asked what will you do now Dad that you have stopped, hmm said his Dad,I think I will go to work. Think about that one.

retirement sucks, I quit 17 yrs ago or thereabouts, still trying to get my daily average under 7 hrs, 60 per week is still common

Yeah but I suppose now you do it because you want to not because you have to. Looking by the hours you are still doing, you haven't retired yet.

official retirement ( 65) comes up this year, don't get me wrong I've certainly enjoyed the flexibility of my early retirement, anything from site work for a son in that trade, ploughing etc for a mate in the contracting business, general farm work for another, digger work, fencing etc, research data initiation, even get a bit of fishing in too
My time is my own, and its by choice that i do anything at all, never been one to laze around ever, get too bored doing nothing, but beginning to get tired easily now, so have cut back a bit

Yep, soon catches up with us.
