About how much would you expect to pay to get a power point put in a bedroom!

There needs to be a few things known. what is access like, do you have RCD's on the board already and is there room on the board to fit one. How old is the house as in how old is the wiring and in what condition. Call a sparky around to give to an estimate/quote on it.

Time plus travel plus hardware.It will depend on lots of things, including can you get under the house etc as above. Often more cost effective to get lots of small jobss done at once.

Is there one in the wall of the adjoining room it could be easy to instal back to back.

Yes liggy2 and you will still have to install an RCD on the switchboard or change the powerpoint it will be fed from into an rcd point. As i said you need to call around a sparky to give you the best information.
