I have all these old teabags and think I read/heard they are good for the garden. If so do I just dig in around plants! Thanks.

All ours (and the coffee grounds) go on our compost heaps.

You would need to open the bags first, they take forever to break down and also would look unsightly !

I put mine in the compost bin, too.

I put mine in the compost bin, never seen a stray bag when the compost is eventually turfed into the veg patch. Even the string and the labels break down.

BP, have bins outside the shop with coffee grinds for free.

My teabags are dried and put into a tin with kerosene to use as fire lighters for our two wood burners.Great.Surplus bags through summer when not needed for the fire go into the compost.Never had any trouble with them breaking down though so glad I do not have to open each bag first.

Get yourself one of those whizz things and throw them in there along with the vege scraps and some water and just pour onto the garden. Beats having a compost heap.
