Pasionfruit ripening?

Our passionfruit seems very slow in ripening this year, there are lots of them , and a good size but remaining green although feeling a little soft. Auckland area.

That's good to hear. Hubby was just wondering when to expect them to ripen. They just seem to have been on the vine as big green passionfruit for longer than last year.

We have a passionfruit vine at the back of our place (hangs over the neighbours fence) and some of the fruit is falling off on our side. The fruit is green at the moment and obviously not ripe. Can we put it in a fruit bowl to ripen! - and will it ripen naturally!
thanks in advance

No it needs to stay on the plant to ripen. Also, by law, any fruit falling onto your side must be returned unless they allow you to keep it.
The plant probably needs more water if it's dropping green fruit.

i thought if it falls on your property its yours!
