Does anyone have a Robinhood Tilterhood Classique?

I need the wee plastic panel that covers the light bulb on the above unit. Mine is old and has shattered but the rest of the unit works perfectly well. Is anyone out there replacing their old Tilterhood Classique and may have this piece I could buy? I have approache dht ecompany that makes them but they are no longer available.

Plastic? On the rangehood I had there was a glass panel covering the light. It was slightly patterned. You should be able to get a replacement cut to size.

If this is the unit I’m thinking of are the mesh filters available?

Hi again. The mesh covers are still ok. I clean them in the dishwasher. It is the plastic rectangular piece that covers the light bulb, that has given up the ghost. Where does one go to get a glass or plastic piece cut to order?

My unit dated back to ~1985 so probably was different. How old is your model?

One of the glass places that do car windscreens might do it. :)

well the house was built in 1992 so I am guessing it was installed then.

We may be at cross purposes a Robinhood Tilterhood is not the same as the Classique Tilt a Hood that I had.

A little late, but you could try a place that sells perspex or the likes. Here is one from your profile location. https://www.asaplastics.co.nz/ which looks like it will fit the bill. There is a couple of places in Christchurch that can supply, cut and give you options of thickness etc also. If you want to go glass, then most glazing places (where you would take a window sash to have new glass fitted) will be able to cut a piece and drill any holes required.

I can check tomorrow. My sister has one that doesn't work so she might still have the pieces there.
