Hi there, does anyone have a rough idea of how much it would cost to concrete 2x areas of around 2.5 x 6 metres?

Based on a couple I've had done and others I've seen prices on. Assuming good access and no excessive prep work needed you'll probably in the right range if you estimate $100/square meter. Then round up to the next $1000. Should be about right. So, about $2000?

Because I'm a cheapskate I put down some crushed limestone. A layer of coarse limestone followed by fine limestone. That locks together. It is possible to dig it up later for plumbing repairs, laying fibre etc. I spray it with Roundup a couple of times a year.

You think so? As a one-off job to presumably level and compact the base and set up boxing, pay a minimum delivery fee for only about 1 cubic metre of concrete and arrange for that to be delivered when you were on site, or pick up and pay for a trailer load of builders mix and cement and a concrete mixer, mix it, pour it, screed it off etc, I'd say that you did rather well. After costs to visit the site at least twice, paying for materials and labour, how much did you expect to pay the person who did it?

I had my drive and area by garage done a while back, 208sqm total. Concrete quotes were $15,000. I had it done in asphalt for $7200.
