Does anyone know where to buy this now? It seems to have disappeared from most places. Thanks

Strangely Jeyes Fluid went off the market a few years back and everyone said they were not making it anymore. The when out shopping I found it but not completely sure where thought it was Mitre10 Rangiora. If not try Countdown, Paknsave, New World or the Pet Supply shop in 44 Newnham Tce Rangiora. They are the places I shop at. I bought mine about 6 months ago no brand just the blue and white Jeyes Fluid Bottle with a red sticker saying it is $22

I've still got an old tin version at home. A collectable.
It's rugged stuff. I bet the new version is nothing like the old one.

It would be interesting to compare the ingredients list (if there is one) from your old tin to a new bottle. I also believe the recipe has changed.

I've got an old laundry shed and I was having a look for the tin of Jeyes. I couldn't see it but I could smell it. LOL That's how potent it still is.
It says : Active ingredient 83.6g/litre tar acids ( high boiling ) in the form of an emulsifiable concentrate . Manufactured for Jeyes of England by Johnson Wax NZ Ltd.
Good for contagious and infectious diseases . hahaha Along with lots of other uses.

IIRC it was once a byproduct of the coal gas manufacturing process. That got shut down here when natural gas came online.
