I want to hang 2 lightweight canvas pictures in our flat. The flat has steel walls ( portacom) so i dont want to put nails or rivets in the walls. I have tried Commando strips but with the slightly textured wallpaper the dknt hold. Any suggestions welcome.

Magnets. Neodymium from magnets nz. We used to attach walls to shipping containers with them

You could also drop a nylon line from the ceiling down the wall and hang that way - two lines make leveling up easier.

There are spoeciality 3D ones that do stick to "anything" for pictures of certain weights. I installed a heavy painting on the wall with these and still there 6 months later. Adhesive one side and velcro on the other.

With the wide range of commando hooks, the surface needs to be wiped down with IPA (Brushing Alchohol), this gives the best chance of sticking. Dave.

Yousee this frequently in rentals in Europe, landlords provide, saves damaging walls, brilliant
