Think I might set up a Bokashi system

Bokashi is good if you don't have room outside for acompost bin or a worm farm. It's more convenent too.

I've got chickens and a worm farm now so only use Bokashi composting starter to break down raw chicken manure, and to cut down the ammonia smell coming from it.

I used to do Bokashi, but have since got a worm farm. Love the worms, so much easier, and more efficient. No more Bakashi, worms win hands down

Ive got both, the worms dont eat fast enough for us, so a lot goes in the bokashai bucket, which if you use right doesnt smell - just a picked smell, and then it can go in the garden to be burried.

I have no idea what the heck your all talking about. i just compost the normal way by gathering gazilloins of leaves in the Autumn and mixing it with my garden scraps weeds and grass clippings. All my plants are this high and smile when i walk by. I have worms for Africa in the mix, and many birds nestsin the spring.I live off the garden almost completely for eight months plus of the year.

Bokashi IS easy. Bought one for my daughter's household - she's happy with it, ---- then I made my own with 2 square buckets that fit each other , drilled the top one just like a bought one. I'm happy. No smell, takes a while to fill, product can be trenched into the garden for a while. Daughter says the growth from the compost is amazing. Happy campers!
(I have a worm farm too)
