Would anyone know what furniture grade mahogony might be worth?
(I have some 300 x 20 planks ) Thanks

To a cabinet maker? Probably quite a bit, is awesome wood for that sort of thing.

Ring BBS Timber or South Pacific Timber. They will tell you it's worth a fortune

You need proof of ownership to sell it.

Thanks . Any cabinet makers out there that may have an idea? (Just ballpark figure per metre)

Nope, you likely need CITES paperwork to import it. But you can buy Fijian grown Mahogany from various wholesalers in NZ as it's an exotic forestry tree if you grow it there, and not protected.

As for the value, no idea, but it will be worth decent $$ to the right person. Market for it is small here in NZ though.

Says who?

You should be able to get $20 to $25 per metre for it if it is in prime condition. Finding someone who wants it may be quite hard, but you never know until you try.

Thanks for that. Yes I know the market is probably quite small.
