What model F&P Refrigerator ?

annies3, Jul 25, 7:04pm
We have one which needs to have the doors changed over to the oposite side it is not one which can be just done with the parts on the present doors, so how do we find out the model so we can buy a kit to do this ? the manual has instructions for several models, at a guess there will be a number somewhere on the body, can anyone point us in the right direction please ?

If you're lucky there might be a sticker at the bottom corner of one of the sides.

Often on the back near power cord, could also be inside fridge somewhere, on a door or wall.
Might be cheaper and easier to just sell it on here, and replace with correct one.

I have a fridge with a handle on each side. It can be opened on either side.

A sharp?

Usually a sticker on the front, down below bottom door, on right hand side of the ledge.

I have a f&p fridge freezer and as others have suggested, when opening the freezer door the label is at the bottom on the right side.

Yes. I wonder why they stopped making them? Mine has worked fine for 19 years.
I have a Sharp microwave too.

you are lucky to get 19 years, I,m convinced most home appliances are programmed to give grief after 5 years and 10 years unrepairable, but being kiwis we keep fixing them.

The only appliance I've had that has failed was a F&P dishwasher which I bought new and I was tempted to leave on the footpath outside Magness Benrow. It had constant problems and eventually fell to bits. A very poor design, overpriced parts and poor service.
