I need to get my front porch resurfaced. its concrete and old and tired looking. also needs a better surface as its really slippery. Who do I go to for something like this?

if you want it to be left as concrete you could possibly try a concrete layer
Is it straight concrete, or a plaster finish over concrete? Either way, a hard plasterer is who you need. Often a bricklayer does this. If it's plaster over concrete, and starting to crack and lift, it needs to be chipped off and relaid. With modern products such as cemix, a plasterer can apply a thin finish over old concrete as well.

It's called solid plastering and brickies know sweat FA about plastering. There's probably an old solid plasterer in Hamilton.Ring trowel trades and ask if they know anyone.Or put the job on builderscrack.
