We have a real problem with these two weeds at our bach. In both cases they migrate from neighours and every time we are up here we have the task of disintangling the morning glory from the fruit trees near the boundary.
What we can use to stop this infestation by spraying along the fenceline perhaps, and inadvertently over the fence - ha ha. Capricorngirl

Glyphosate and penetrant will knock it down, especially repeated sprayings a week later when you can see the bits you missed. Hit it hard every time you can, don't wait for it to dig its toes in again. You can roll up the convolvulus and put it in a container of glyphosate with a piece cut out of the lid and leave it to sit.
Thanks for the response - will try this out before leaving on Sat - just hope the weather is better (dry) so it can be done - intermittent sudden downpours here today in KeriKeri. Both the neighbours are permanent residents and you would think they would be "on" to it to control the potential strangulation of their fruit trees. Capriorngirl

Add the product Pulse as that will help break down the structure of the plant and enable the spray to penetrate further ( sprayfix will help hold the spray on the plant Pulse is better )

Tell them. They don't feel your inconvenience so put it on them.

Unfortunately neither neighbour seems to care. The worst is at the back of the section and we are told that house is rented now and owners have moved to Wanaka. Capricorngirl
