Any tips on how to get rid of the flies. I have a raid sprayer that goes off frequently and also fly spray but just cant seem to get rid of them.

I assume you mean, inside your house? I personally think the best way to get rid of flies in your house is to put flyscreens on the windows of your house.

I find it helps if you try to create a through draught of air . like have doors/windows open on both sides of the house.
However in this humidity with little wind, it's not that easy.

dont even need windows open and they still come in

Ripcord - I just make it up in a spray and wipe bottle spray all window sills and door entrances and no flies and we live on a farm and previously flies were a real problem.

It pays to shut the outside doors immediately after you go through them. The flies will come in after a few seconds.

Ive just used No Bugs Super. Ive read reviews and its as good as Ripcord. Ive done inside and out the other day, dramatic reduction in flies but still coming in. Even my faithful black flag flyspray not always effective either. Maybe they are being resistant to sprays. I think only way is by having screens which is hard when you have ranchsliders and french doors, would be fine if we had aircon and could shut doors and winders

Get the flyspray from Bin Inn- it's their brand and actually works! It has ingredients that are probably banned in 3 countries! Haha

Yes No Bugs Super here too. Dramatic decrease in flies but still few coming in so bought Mortein Automatic Spray as well - all gone now with windows still open because of the heat.

Is your room the right size for the number of auto fly sprayers? We have 2 in the kitchen/lounge and they stay out most of the time. There is usually a pedestal fan going most of the time also.

Ecomist here and can honestly say I do not have a fly problem. Would not be without it

If there cluster flies they seem to find a way into houses even with aluminium windows! They usually turn up late February hatching out of the ground! But yes apparently you can spray the outside of your house with ripcord. poppit15 is it safe to use indoors?

I’ve been filling a couple of vases every other day with fennel and placing on window ledges in kitchen. That seems to be keeping them away from the kitchen area in our open plan lounge dining kitchen.

They are resistant to the poisons now so waste of time.
Sticky traps or bottle traps are far more effective.
