Anyone used this device put out by wet and forget company? We have a cat poo problem in the forest of our preschool.

Puss Off may not be perfect, but if you're looking for a way to keep cats out of your garden, it's definitely worth a try. Just make sure you've got some air freshener on hand!

Pros of Puss Off:
- No more cat poop in your garden! Puss Off really lives up to its name when it comes to keeping cats away from your prized veggies and flowers.
- It's easy to use. Just sprinkle it around the areas you want to protect and watch the cats scram.
- It's safe for other animals. Puss Off is made with natural ingredients that won't harm birds, dogs, or other wildlife.

Cons of Puss Off:
- It's smelly. Some folks may find the scent of Puss Off to be a bit overpowering, so you may want to wear a nose plug while applying it.
- It needs to be reapplied frequently. Puss Off will wash away in the rain, so you'll need to reapply it after each storm.
- It's not foolproof. Some cats may be more determined than others, and if they really want to get into your garden, they may find a way around Puss Off.

The info says only 6 metres so probably not going to work for us. At $84 you would want a money back gurarantee.
It is difficult as we are unable to use deterrents that may harm children.
Any ideas welcome.

napthalene flakes will do it (Keep cats away).

Feedback from a couple of users of puss off.
I just want to say how delighted I am with the Puss Off deterrents that we bought recently. To be free of visiting cats messing our lawn is heaven Margaret Smithson

I bought one of your first solar powered cat deterrents and you mentioned to me about letting you know how it goes. It works, but I was expecting it to reach a wider range for scaring the cats. I had a young ginger kitten that walked about 2 mtrs away from it and it didn??

Don't be silly, those ultrasonic things are a scam.
Cats like nice fluffy easy to dig dirt or other material.
Plants stuff that up, hard material also.
Sure it's cats? They tend to bury it, dogs don't.

Er and the children dig where the cat's poo, it is a childcare centre, not really necessary to say I am silly for asking about a devise.
We do scope the ground every morning and endeavour to find it. In the last week we have found poo every day in the forest. The sand pit is easy as we have had covers made.
I will check if naphthalene flakes are poisonous, thank you to those who commented.
Any other ideas welcome.

Napthalene flakes are poisonous - and should certainly not be used in any area small children access.

Test of an ultrasonic cat repellent:

So, it works very well indeed for a short time, then the cats just get used the noise and ignore it. Unsurprising - cats are quite smart.

I expect that the "scarecrow" automatic water sprayer type devices might work much better in the longer term.

Oh that is a good idea mm12345 re water. We are not there though at night and all weekend, but will think on that one.
