12V christmas lights

I want to run them off a 12v battery

Have you had a look at xmas lights that have mains adaptors to see if any are 12v output!

yea they all seem to be around 30V output

Jaycar have a convertor which doubles the input voltage (cat AA0264) so you could useit for 24 volts - may be easier to find xmas lights at that voltage.

Just use 2 12v batteries & that will give you 24v
