St John's Wort ?

I make herbal remedies, lotions and potions, and am thinking about planting St John's Wort, which I use a lot of, and have been buying. I am a bit concerned, as I read it is invasive. Will I regret planting it?

I have some in my garden and I don't find it invasive at all. I'm very careful about not allowing the seeds to spread wherever they like though.
