Has anyone used one of these? Were you satisfied with the results? Would like some feedback before we buy one. Many thanks.

Anyone else?

Brilliant - mine is getting plenty of use currently! They are quick, effective and you don't get that unfortunate situation where you are left with a mouse dangling by a broken leg and you still have to kill it. A much more humane method.

Peppermint oil (the proper essential kind) burned for several hours 7-20 drops should keep them out of the house or wherever they are, they hate it it hurts their sensitive noses & makes them giddy

How much does the nooski trap cost please?

piquant, Mar 21, 2:27am
I think mine was about 12 or 13 bucks. They might have gone up a bit but not by much I think. Got mine from Farmlands but I'm sure places like Bunnings or Mega M10 would stock them.

Cheers piquant. I will have a peek in our farmlands and give them a try.

Bought one from Bunnings yesterday for $11.48. Will try it
this weekend.

Is it any good?

Whether it is good or not you still have to reload it with another ring. Currently I like the grey plastic Intruder brand. So long as there's bait on the trigger plate it resets with just a squeeze, no bits of wire like the old wooden traps.

I've found them fantastic. Quick death, no mess, no injured vermin dragging the trap away. And no worries of catching my finger in it when it's set in my laundry cupboard :)

Our cat checks the mouse traps every morning and if he finds a mouse in one, will get it out of the trap and parade it around like he caught it. He eventually eats it, so not sure what he'd make of those Nooski rubber bands.

I tried the peppermint oil yesterday. It certainly made them scuttle! I'll keep burning it throughout the house in the hope that they will exit accordingly. So, thanks for that tip jsimons12!

I've got one after good reports but can't get the rats yet. Tried wet cat food, - nothing. Tried templations dry cat biscuits - trap was moved a foot but nothing. Tried cheese. Nope. Any ideas? Have put it under the house foundations where the vermin would pass through to get into the walls where they are bothering me and I can't put traps.

There are two different Nooski traps available. A small one for mice and a larger one for rats (which must be the one Vwork has). I've recently purchased the rat Nooski as well, and I'm interested to hear of other people's experience with them.

Smooth peanut butter blended with powder rodent bait.

My traps still have 6 month old bait in them & YES still catching mice
If the traps don't get them, the poisoned peanut butter will.
