Bunnings sell door nets/fly screen that you stick on around the door(I would suggest nailing or stappling to frame of door as they come undone), the parting in the middle that you walk through closes together with magnets they are on $13.

I did this when we lived right next door to a farm.I put liver in the jar; it works.

It's ok - they must have just taken a little longer to get goign where I am - last night they were attractign flies and startign to fill up with the nasty little creatures. :-)so I'm happy now.
