If you are keen on having flowers any time soon I would try and get a plant instead. They take absolute years to flower from cuttings.

They will flower sooner if they are kept under potted, a bit on the dry side and generally treated badly. I had a huge one 20 years old which never flowered but so healthy. I downsized the pot it was in and it flowered forever after that, remember they are a succulent so do not require heaps of water.

I have one I grew from a leaf from an old relatives plant. It is as old as my oldest son, nearly 42. It didn't have flowers for around 20 odd years.
I got sick of it and threw it outside on the fence and forgot about it. Well what do you know one day I saw a flower and it has never stopped.
I havn't repotted it for years and it has around 4 or 5 heads each year.
Apparently you don't remove the flower stems either as that's where they flower each time.
The flowers are a lovely velvet pink and do have a scent.
If you can't find one to buy I will have a look and see if I can take a cutting off mine. I hope your young it may take a long time to flower lols ;o)

There are some for sale on TM, and one sounds like it is quite a decent size plant.
