Saw this vine growing in Palmerston North. Very exotic looking long tendrils holding pod-type things. Flowers orange but relatively insignificant compared to the hanging bits.
Stauntonia hexaphylla "Japanese Stauton Vine". Female plants produce egg shaped fruit with a sweet white edible pulp. Cheers!

Sadly I don't think so. The flowers are orange and the leaves pleated.

Thunbergia of some sort? Probably coccinea.

Possibly Thunbergia mysorensis maybe?

Ok It is definitely some sort of Thunbergia, both coccinea and mysorensis look very similar but the one I saw didn't have such spectacular flowers.
