its one of those old digital boxes - seems to be stuck on 11300. I want it on 10750 - went into settings, lnb setup - chose universal and it wont let me change it to 10750. Will it only allow me to change if it gets a signal ? ( i may have the dish pointing at the wrong sat) Ive changed the lnb settings in the past with no issues not this time.

I take it is a sky dish and lmb? printed on the side is the osc number and I think has something to do with what your are trying to do. Don't you have a choose of the number you are trying to set in a drop down list?

I am not sure if I actually have your question correct in my mind or not :) I got a sky sat dish and had to change my lnb to get free-view and not sky and as for setting off the dish and lnb best thing ever brought was a sat finder and not very expensive at all and well worth it for getting either sorted in right direction. I was also told prior to changing lnb that they don't last for ever. fact Ariel guy had to come here again after gale force winds and re set it. Hope this might help :)

I got it sorted - there were 2 faults so I was chasing a bad reception on a sky decoder that was set up for the wrong lnb.
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
