ha thats what we don't know husband has done three previously but can't remember and this light has just been bare wires for years

2 of the reds are lives(twist together and put in a connector)the other red is the control(put in light fitting live terminal) the black goes into the light fitting N terminal)if you don't understand this get a sparky.

Black wire no boubt neutral, if one of the wires have two red cores then no doubt switch wire, so attach one of the red wires to the L on the light and the other two into a connector strip.Easy as . If i lived local i would come and do it for a box of beers, rather you were safe than burn your house down.

I love a good electrical question, it brings all sorts of rubbish onto this board. Surely there must be some more diy twits out there who can offer some more stupid advice.
