I could think of ten ways to make more money than sell walnuts, especially when they come so cheap from China. keep them for yourself!

but the imported ones taste so yukky!I sold some (unshelled) last year on here, turned out the buyer had her elderly mother-in-law coming to visit and wanted something for her to do!

Great! I'm sure you can let me know what I can do to make more money; I have immediate costs of $9.20 per hour if I leave the home as I have to get childcare for my kids. I will have to pick up the walnuts anyway as otherwise it will attract rats and as it takes me an hour+ to crack a kilo of unshelled walnuts and get rid of all the little shell fragments then I can write off 200hours of cracking and another 200hours trying to work out what to make with 100kg of shelled walnuts a year.

So, please let me know what I can do that is better then getting out with my kids and picking up some walnuts to sell in one lot to a buyer! I know last year (terrible year for walnuts so inflated price likely) a buyer was advertising here, paying $12 a kilo unshelled and dry. So I might make $1-2000 for walking around once every couple of days for a few weeks. Sounds alright to me.
