Could anyone please advise how long plastic roof guttering will last! Anyone had it in service for 40 years! 30!

If you have the write fall & keep them clean, they should last 30 odd years

Mine's still perfect after 22 years. I just helped replace rusty 10 year old galvanised spouting on another house, and put plastic spouting on another house to replace the copper spouting that was stolen.

We've got 34 year old PVC spouting here.made by AHI, though.

Marley spouting only started being manufactured in the 70's, so you'd be pushed to find 40yo spouting.

Ours is quite old - must be about 35 years - it's all fine but has become quite brittle - if it's not disturbed it's fine but if impacted or bent (by ladders etc.) then it cracks and breaks. I've had to repair a couple of instances.
