these mongrels are driving me batty.they are the small flat ones.
i know ruud kleinpaste said they are the native ones and don't worry about them, they won't harm you.well there are heaps of baby ones.

B52 spray from Hardware shops.
If theyre native ones & stay outdoors theyre not a problem (ive got bark gardens with 100's in there but very rarely get them inside).
If theyre inside & invading fridges, stoves, electronics etc youd best get a professional pet control service on the job.If your seeing them during the day, then your problems way bigger than you think.

The tiny/small bugs are the classic kitchen pest.
Never in 6 years have I ever seen more then 1 big garden cockroach at a time.
Very rarely have I ever seen them inside & never ever see babys in or outside.

To be able to SEE lots of little cockroach's inside means that you already have a heavy infestation & a few baits isn't going to do much with that situation.
Those small cockroach's are very very shy & normally only come out in the dark of night after alls gone silent
Time to call in the experts
